Intentionalist Juneteenth 2020

For Juneteenth, I collaborated with Seattle-based graphic designer Enjoli Izidor to create a series of Instagram graphics highlighting Black-owned businesses in Seattle, Portland, Raleigh and Durham, Washington, D.C., and Atlanta. The graphics were collectively shared across Instagram over 3,700 times and garnered over 30,800 organic impressions.

The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation

I created a set of graphics for the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation’s social channels for International Women’s Day. The graphics also promoted findings from Canadian and American political scientist Laurel Weldon’s papers on feminist movements and women’s economic empowerment.

#SupportHer Tabs

For Women’s History Month 2021, Intentionalist partnered with HR consulting company Reverb to open tabs at five woman-owned small businesses in Seattle’s Chinatown-International District. The goal was to encourage people to support small businesses in Chinatown amid the rise of anti-Asian sentiment. I illustrated this takeout bag with all the items people could get using the prepaid tab.

The Squeaky Curd

The Squeaky Curd is a show on Concordia University’s radio station, CJLO, that dives deep into the Montreal food scene, addressing everything from ecological to social issues surrounding food. I drew the show’s logo and banner depicting an exploding mountain of poutine because what would Canadian cuisine be without poutine?

Intentionalist Third Anniversary

In April 2021, Intentionalist celebrated its third anniversary with a virtual event that included a four-course meal participants picked up for takeout. The meal brought together four beloved and diverse Seattle restaurants for a one-of-a-kind experience. I drew this graphic depicting each course to promote the event.
